Clear Channel Reorgs National Sales
by Katy Bachman
Clear Channel is rearranging the management deck chairs again. Aiming for more national dollars, the radio group reorganized sales for national spot and network radio under Premiere Radio Networks president Charlie Rahilly, who will now have the newly created position of president of national advertiser platforms group.

The new sales organization brings together CC's national rep firm, Katz Media Group with the radio networks of Premiere Radio Networks.

In his new position, Rahilly will report to John Hogan, president and CEO of CCR and oversee all national sales channels for CC Radio including, Katz Media Group, Premiere Radio Networks, CCR Digital National Sales, CCR Creative Services Group and CCR Advertiser. Stu Olds, president of Katz Media Group, will now report to Rahily.

"Putting all CCR national advertiser platforms under singular, dedicated and focused supervision will accelerate the development of programs and platforms that will use our brands, personalities and systems to our customer advantage. Benefits to advertisers will immediately include fewer points of contact, expanded choice, better insights, improved documentation of CCR performance and exceptional service," wrote Hogan in an internal memo to employees dated Dec. 4.

In addition to Rahilly, Hogan also promoted Julie Talbott to president of content and affiliate relations, from executive vp of affiliate marketing, reporting to Hogan. Carol Terakawa, executive vp of sales for Premiere, will report to Rahilly.
